Sorry for the lack of posts. There’s just nothing much to blog about lately. The past few days (and nights) I have been on a downloading spree! Downloading a lot of different albums. I think the best one I’ve downloaded so far has to be JJ Lin‘s Sixology.

I think it’s his best album yet. I enjoyed every single track on this album. Quite a number of other artists are also featured in some of the songs, so it’s really nice! 🙂

On the other hand, Jay Chou’s latest album Capricorn kinda disappointed me. The slow songs are quite good, but the others are kinda like.. =\ and a lot of the songs are like, upbeat ones which give me a headache. I think he should just stick with the slow songs. His upbeat songs just aren’t good. He could have been better, if only he stuck with his slow songs.

Ooh, I’ve started playing Facebook poker recently! But then I hardly win.. got la but I only got like 6K now! So noob ok compared to other people who has like, I dno, few millions. Guess I gotta depend on the daily chips thing. 2K only though, so sien. Give more lah! I’m so poor already. I hate it like, when we noobs play on a $40 table.. and these PRO 100K people also play, and they raise sooo high! How to play?! Bullies 😦 Sometimes I’d rather play on my DS lor, my self-confidence build up more hahaha cos I always win when I play on DS. Fine, it doesn’t count cause I’m not playing with real people, but whatever =P hahahah.

I’ve been doing nothing but getting ready for Melbourne.. flight’s booked and confirmed, although I still want to change it because I want to arrive there earlier. And also I’m going to have my medical check-up sometime next week. I can’t wait to get that and my visa done.

Anyway. I’ve been feeling so frustrated because I’m trying to get things to work out when I get there, like accomodation and stuff. The problem is my mum is making things soo hard! I don’t know what to do anymore.. I’ve suggested a number of other options for her but she’s still not happy with it. I wish she would stop making things so difficult for me. I know she’s doing it out of caring for me but still.. we all need our own space sometimes. It’s gonna drive me crazy sooner or later.

Aiyah. Whatever lah. Just needed to rant for a bit.

I’m so bored, just thought I’d update a bit cause I feel so bad. And yes, I have been nagging Freddy to blog here. But these are the answers he always give me:

Oh! I almost forgot. Listen to this. I heard it on the TV a few days ago.

It’s Wang Lee Hom‘s new single, What’s Wrong With Me. There’s a different Chinese title for it but I don’t know how you say it in pinyin so yeah. It’s kinda weird, it’s like modern rock with traditional chinese instruments but for some reason, I quite like it! I’m not so sure you guys will though. The way he sings the song is very weird la.. his pronounciation also like Chinaman! In the beginning I thought he was singing Korean or something like that hahah. And his voice is not really clear also.. his voice is meant to be all nice and smooth but this is.. not. Hahah. He’s supposed to be like a good singer and all, but in this song you cannot tell if he is or not. I prefer his normal songs.

The circle of life

Wow, I blog like almost everyday now. I don’t know why though, nowadays I just have this urge to blog when I come home. It’s not gonna last for long, I know it. Anyways.. went out with Javon and Carrie tonight. I parked my car in Kiulap while Carrie came to pick me up because she said she had to pick Javon up and also send food to her dad. When I got in her car, I was like thinking, why couldn’t she just ask me to pick Javon up and she can then send food to her dad? Hahahaha, so screwed up one her plans! It’s supposed to make things easier but then it makes the whole journey longer again LOL. But yeahh.. we picked Javon up and went to Gadong cause she had to send food right, then we stopped just before the zebra crossing there just to change seats so that I was driving her car and Carrie can run up to the mall. Wahlao eh, her brake so sensitive eh.. press a bit the car jerk already hahaha. Needs getting used to. It was fun driving her car for a while though.

Next stop, Thien Thien Kiulap. Had dinner there (obviously la) thennn, went back to Gadong again because I wanted to get the microSD card for my DS TT. Went to Carrie‘s game shop (ETA Games) to get the 1GB card, and then I had to choose which games I wanted also so it took quite a while, meanwhile they were all looking for me haha wth. Anyways I had 15 free games to choose from right, so then I chose 15 of them from the booklet. And I just realised, they gave me 10 only! Like wth hahaha. But it’s ok la, can just get them from the internet also. I think I need another microSD card soon.. not sure if the 1GB one is enough but yeah. We’ll see. Anyways I got games now, so excited! Although they left out my Crash Bandicoot, the game is so cool k! I have been waiting to play Crash for soo long, and now they left it out 😦 haiyoh! I have Cooking Mama 1 and 2 though 😀 And Spyro the Dragon, although the one I have now is pretty stupid.. its so hard to kill the enemy! They left out the other Spyro game that I chose too. I also have… Texas Hold ‘Em, NFS Most Wanted (I dont even know why I chose that, maybe I just needed to have a variety of games, not all sissy cartoon ones haha), Mario Brothers (my all-time favourite!), Diner Dash, Cake Mania, Bomberman and Pokemon Dash. Not enough games, but it’s a start. It can still keep me company when I’m bored.

Wow that was a long paragraph. Anyways, this afternoon before I went out I watched The Lion King!

It was still awesome, even though I’ve watched it a lot of times before. This is like one of my favourite Disney animations mannn! So sad also, I actually teared up at the part where Mufasa died omg 😥 Hahahah shit man, you all are gonna think I’m a loser now 😦 But Lion King is still the best. And Lion King II is even better!!

Oh yeah, back to tonight. They were also promoting the Guitar Hero World Tour set so people were playing it and stuff, so we just hung around there for a while. We went to Cheezbox to chill after that, and sometimes I am just soo embarassed being with Javon and Carrie man. They sang so loudly (and badly too) in the damn restaurant. Paiseh mann! But at one point I was too into playing my DS so yeah. Ohh we bumped into Nichola too! Chatted with her for a while to update each other on our whereabouts, but that was it.

Sien, I think I’m gonna go watch Lion King II now 😉 need to wake up early tomorrow to have lunch with my mum, but whatever. I need a movie to make me feel content right now. This was a long blog.

Losing my way

It was Jean‘s birthday yesterday, and so we celebrated it in Twelv 🙂 It was me, Carrie, Kai, Javon, Jean, Ann Lee, Ann Lau and Fareed. Dinner was good I guess, had the lamb chops again but I was sooo annoyed with cutting it that I don’t think I actually enjoyed it as much as I did the first time I had it. My hands were so tired! They gave me the really bony parts man =S

Anyways, after that we went to Cheezbox to chill. We played the “Who would you rather date?” game hahaha. Some of them were pretty intense. It was very entertaining. It was only me, Javon, Carrie, Jean and Ann Lee though, the rest went home. After Cheezbox, we waited for Ann and Jean to go home, and the 3 of us stood next to their cars and talked endlessly about everything. I think it lasted for a good half an hour or so. It was a really good talk though, sigh. Can always have good talks with those two. I’m gonna miss them when they go to Singapore to spend Christmas! 😦 Oh, and Kai too………… I suppose. HAHAHAHAH! Shut up Kai, you’ve always been so bitchy to me.

My brother’s friend was back from Perth, so my mum went to collect some stuff that my brother sent back. I got the iPod nano and DS TT woo! I need to get a memory card for the DS TT though, so complicated la even I don’t understand. Anyways. Need to get ready now because gonna meet up with Carrie and Javon at 5pm later. This was the night where you drank one shot and got SO RED like a tomato and I couldn’t stop laughing at you! Hahahaha. I’m looking forward to that again Jean.. the end of the year is coming soon 🙂 Anyways, this is the most decent picture of us I can find on facebook.. and this means we have to take more photos! Anyway. I’m up right now eating my wah-tan-ho, and I just finished watching Gossip Girl. Why does each episode have to end so fast ah? At least, it seems like it. Eh anyway, so bored I think I’m gonna sleep soon.

I met up with Carrie, Javon and Kai yesterday. Saw Javon and Kai after we went to BLau. Turns out that the 4 of us haven’t really eaten lunch yet, so we went to RMS to eat cause Javon was craving for the mushroom burger. The 3 of us had the lamb chops. It was okay only though.. nothing compared to Twelv’s 😀 We’re going again this weekend! So sad hahaha I bet the employees there can recognise us already. At night, we watched Madagascar 2. Yes, again. The 3 of us sacrificed just so Kai could watch it. The movie’s not all that ‘wow’ anymore when you’ve watched it the second time round. It’s kinda like.. hmm.. okay.. when’s it gonna end? It was still really funny though hahaha. I don’t know why people didn’t laugh at the funny parts! Did they not get the jokes or what? It felt so awkward laughing by ourselves in the cinema.

We watched the 7pm show so we didn’t have dinner that night. Went to Justoys (I know its not Justoys anymore but it sounds nicer than THYE’S foodcourt). Carrie, Javon and I were eating and suddenly Kai said something about satays. We all looked up and we were like thinking we should have gone for satay! So after eating we went to Batu Bersurat to get satay, but they didn’t have the lamb satay that Kai wanted, so we decided not to eat. Sien.. I really wanted satay! 😦 But there’s always a next time.

Just came back from sending my mum, while I went to takeaway some donuts. And oh my goodness…………… they have got to be the worst donuts I have ever tasted in my life!! I guarantee you if I made myself some donuts on my own, they would taste way better than that, even if they were plain donuts!That’s how bad it was.

You know how when you put donuts in a microwave for a little while, it becomes all warm and soft, and they’re supposed to taste heavenly? Not THESE donuts. They actually taste WORSE than before. The chocolate ones were the worst of the lot. Sigh. These donuts are SO OVERRATED!! Wasted my $7 😦 Krispy Kreme should open up here and make all these donut places close down! Grrrrrrrrrrr and do you know they charge like, $1 or $1.30 for EACH of them?! They’re so small, they’re not even worth 80cents!

I’m officially out of TV shows to watch at the moment. I watched 90210 last night, and Gossip Girl‘s Episode 10 this evening. Damn. Anyways so I’m resorting to blogging now to fill up my time.. probably gonna go sleep soon after this. I gotta wake up early tomorrow anyway to take care of some stuff. Hopefully I don’t take 9585464 hours to sleep again tonight, though I think I probably will since I woke up at 3pm this afternoon hahah.

Weekend was quite an eventful one.. actually the whole of last week was pretty eventful, cause Mr Chen was back from SG for a few days. Went go-karting for the first time on Friday. There were only a few people, so it was not long before our turn. I didn’t know what to expect from it, since I have never gone on it before. As it turns out, my car was the slowest one!! Nabeh like cannot accelerate one la. Turning at the corners were pretty scary hahah. We played 2 rounds. The second round so many problems man. Javon and Jasper got stuck at the grass, Carrie‘s engine died at the end, Chen got injured hahahahah. Funny shits man. Carrie tried to overtake me at the last lap, so she went on the grass. So hiong one!! HAHAHA. Then she hit me a little bit (I didn’t notice though), then Chen act pro and kept banging Carrie‘s car and Chen‘s car skidded I think? Hahahahaha. Then he kept complaining his bruise so pain and when he showed it to us at Cheezbox it was just a tiny little red dot. Hahahahaha. Oh yeah, go-karting was on Chen, so thanks man!! 😀 Anyway go-karts were okay only I guess, didn’t feel the ‘hype’ like the others, sorry guys hahaha. I prefer driving. I could feel the sand and dust coming, even with the cover on the helmets. And the helmets, omg. Eeewww. The moment I reached home I went to take a shower.

Dinner on Saturday night at Twelv. It was initially just me and Carrie. Then Azim and Michael joined us. So random hahah, but its cool. I ordered the seafood platter. It was not bad in my opinion, but I think I still prefer the honey lamb chops. Maybe it was cause of the sweet chilli. I’m okay with sweet chilli in small amounts, just not scattered over the whole plate.

After dinner at Twelv, we went to Gadong to wait for Chen to finish his dinner at Dynasty and then went to Riverview Hotel because Javon‘s cousin was having a birthday party and all. We left after a while though, wasn’t feeling very comfortable cause we didn’t know anyone at all there (except Ama), so it was really awkward. We went to Chills for a bit after that, then went to Empire. We saw something really rare that night.

A halo! I thought it was really cool cause I've never seen it before, but maybe I'm just sakai. Lol

Sunday was the day that Chen was gonna leave, so I went to have lunch with him, Carrie, Javon and Jasper in Jollibee in the Kiulap mall after sending my mum to Bigthumb. Gadong was packed to the max. Our lunch conversations so retarded man. After lunch, we browsed around the mall and then I had to go while they were playing in the arcade. So I went back home, got my mum’s phone and went to Bigthumb to drop her the phone and went back home. I was soo tired and so PMS-y that day because the weather was blazing hot. Didn’t manage to send Chen off at the airport, cause I fell asleep at around 5ish after picking my mum up, and I didn’t know the rest were gonna send him off as well. Sorry dude. Will see you soon hopefully!

Today. Was. So. Boring. I woke up, checked facebook, checked my mails, brushed my teeth, watched TV, ate, talked to Freddy (or Freddying, as Javon and Carrie calls it), talked more, went downstairs, drank water, ate my vitamins, went upstairs, surfed the net, facebooked, talked more, went out and tapao KFC, sent my mum to friend’s house, went back home, ate dinner, talked more, facebooked, talked more, went downstairs, drank water, went upstairs, talked more, watched TV, facebooked……………………………….. yeah I’m pretty jobless.

And here I am blogging and chatting with Jia Chii now. This is by far the longest online conversation we’ve had ever since she went back to UK. Really nice catching up with her!

OMG. CARRIE‘S ALIVE ON MSN!! I thought she died on the bed after apparently trying to “lie down on her bed and not moving”. Poor girl, no aircon hahahhahahaa 😀 Damn it’s cold in here, better wear a jacket. 😉

Just got back from watching Madagascar 2 with Carrie, Chen and Javon. It was good, we laughed so much! The movie kinda reminds me of Lion King hahah. Hahahah I loved it man! I only met up with them for the movie though, because I had a family dinner thing before. Which reminds me..

Anyway, we went to eat thai food at KNY Kitchen near my house. It wasn’t too bad, but the portions were so small =\ say we ordered pandan chicken, and there was only enough for us to have one each. The tom yam soup was good though.. spicy but good 😀

I’ve been watching lots of OTH lately.. and Kate Voegele has been starring in the latest two seasons so I’ve kinda started listening to her songs, and god her voice is damn good! It’s so soothing, especially the song Hallelujah. I downloaded her album last night, and I wouldn’t say all of the songs are great (they’re not that bad la but listening to all of them at once gives me a headache cause they’re not exactly slow songs..) but her voice is definitely something.

Oh yeah, I remembered something. After we finished our movie, Carrie and I were waiting for Javon and Chen and then we saw a bunch of malay kids hanging around the lift area, like it was their ‘hang out place’. WHO in the name of God hangs out at the lift area?! Somemore one of them was actually charging their phone there. They kept going in and out of the lifts as well, and when we got in the lift, we noticed they pressed all the buttons from the third floor to the lower basement. Can you say poklen to the max? Fucking assholes man! Pissed me off -.- Go home and sleep you little bastards!! :@

You make it easier when life gets hard

Guess I’ll blog now to make up for the lack of blogs over the last few days. I went out with Javon and Carrie just now after dinner. But before that, I woke up at 10.30 in the morning today!! So happy man 😀 Like, I can finally say GOOD MORNING to the world! Hahahah. I went to bed at 1am the night before (which is damn early for me lately) and was not fully asleep until.. I dno, sunrise? How messed up is that? Maybe I did sleep a little in between la but not much I don’t think. So I woke up and went online for a bit, and surprised Carrie by replying her in MSN at 11am when she clicked on me. So anyways I had to eat instant noodles for lunch, which were crap btw. Good instant noodles are so hard to find nowadays, and I don’t mean Indomie. Indomie is like the best! But I’m talking about those instant noodles with soup. Seriously crap lor. Should have just stuck with Indomie.

Anyways, in the afternoon I was desperate for something to do so I watched the latest HIMYM episode which I have.. sigh. Nothing to watch now, although I have just downloaded Gossip Girl‘s latest episode, but I wanna wait for the right time when I’m bored. The rest of the afternoon I was watching tv and chatting with Carrie as well as exchanging useless wall posts on our Facebook profiles. That was how bored we were. Dinner time came, so I helped my mum with cooking so technically, I cooked half the dish 😀

After dinner headed to the mall to get dropped off and waited for Javon and Carrie to pick me up. Went to Mum’s Bakery in Kiulap cause Javon had to get bread and it was 7.45pm then. Waited another 15 minutes to save money cause it’s buy 1 free 1 from 8pm onwards. Hahahha it was funny seeing the line of people at the counter but no one’s actually paying yet cause they were waiting for the clock to turn 8pm. We had some pretty retarded conversations outside the bakery while waiting. I would explain but it’s too troublesome to type it all out.. it might not even sound funny anymore.

Then we went back to the mall.. there were some taekwondo (or whatever you call them) performances on stage.. so wu liao hahah. Kinda boring, and didn’t wanna struggle with the crowd surrounding the centre of the mall so decided to leave. I wanted to go to Faceshop to get some stuff, and we spent ages there! Mostly painting nail polish on Javon‘s nails. After we were done, spent time at West Street just talking and stuff. We actually had a pretty meaningful conversation. Hard to come by with those two retards hahah 😀

So Chen just arrived in Brunei a few hours ago, and we met up with him in Empire. We sat opposite the artificial beach facing the waves and just talked. But normal talk la. Waves were pretty scary tonight, we got a bit wet. And Chen hahahaha first thing he come back already kena owned by us so many times. Noob man. But him being back means reasons to go out and not stay at home 6 days in a week, so that’s good. Lol.

Carrie was telling me about this new KFC product she saw on advertisement and she was saying how it’s not gonna be out yet in Brunei for another 6 months because Brunei is just slow like that. Then we saw the advertisement right infront of KFC hahaha. Anyway it’s called Hot Rods or some shit like that.

Basically, spicy chicken on a stick. Not a rod. A stick.

I don’t get it. Why don’t we just order a spicy chicken meal or something like that. It’s the same anyway. I thought these “Hot Rods” would have something different about them. But it’s just the same damn chicken!! Only difference is that it’s smaller and on a stick. These things cost a dollar per stick. WHAT?!?!?! At least have some creativity in your food -.- And the presentation of the food.. wow.. it looks no different than the kind of food I would get at a pasar malam. Sheesh. Talking about this makes me crave for fried chicken. Proper fried chicken meal with fries and a drink and everything.. not some piece of chicken on a stick which costs $1 for each stick! I mean, you wouldn’t complain when you’re hungry and all.. but seriously?! What a rip off!

God I really feel like eating right now. But I won’t. It’s so hard though, I’m thinking of the seafood platter and lamb chop at Twelv.. which we are going to have this weekend, yay! 🙂

I am so awake right now!! This can’t be good… I foresee waking up at 3pm later in the afternoon. Sucks man! Anyways, this will be all for tonight. I’ll try and find something to do and if not, I’ll go to bed. The blog about Ann‘s party will come real soon!
