The beginning.

Helloooooo.

I actually don’t know why I’m still blogging here. Might as well just shut the site down hahah. Butttt, I’m bored. SO freaking glad its the weekend. This semester kinda sucks.. I have classes everyday. But its not THAT bad cause on some days it’s only one lecture/tute a day. I haven’t started on any assignments yet.. due date is not so soon but I’ve really got to start soon! And I will during the Easter break! I feel like everyday just passes by like nothing. What really annoys me is having to do the tute works every week. I’m quite happy though, I’ve been a reasonably good student so far. SO FAR. Sigh. I hope this lasts.

So what’s new is that I’ve finally found an apartment to rent in the city! And I’m moving on Monday, yayyyy. Can’t wait. Only regret is that I think my agent is kinda bitchy. Sometimes the Asians here are so .. cocky. Instead, the Australians are much nicer. But whatever.

I met up with Jean today in the city 😀 It’s so weird, I’ve never actually gone out with her the whole time I was in Brunei, but we only meet up when we’re both here. Sad mannn. Speaking of home, I don’t really miss it that much anymore. Maybe just the food and easy transportation but that’s about it. Not like the time I was superrrrrr homesick the second semester I was here.. that was bad cause I seriously cried (like bawled my eyes out) every single day! Urghh never wanna go through that again. There’s just something about this place that made me look forward to coming back this time.

So it’s the end of March, but it’s still so hot around here! When will it start getting cold again? (I know I’m so going to regret saying this when it does start getting cold haha). The heat is too hot and the cold is so cold.

Finally finished exams yesterday. So glad exams are over 😀 After coming back and eating, I just fell on the bed and slept. Had the best nap ever! Omg, yesterday pissed me off so much. After my Marketing exam, I went to the campus centre to tapao some food back for me and Fred. I ordered two fish and chips, but they didn’t have any plastic bags. Somemore the fish was like popping out of the box, so I was like shit what am I gonna do? So I went to the asian grocery store in the campus centre, and decided to buy a drink and then ask her for a plastic bag to put my food in it. When I approached the counter with my drink, she was all smiley and stuff, as if  she just won a lottery. Then when I paid and asked for a plastic bag, her face suddenly turned all black on the spot!! She was like, “You buy a drink why want plastic bag for?” Then she kept looking at me like I stole her money or something, and she took out the plastic bag in such a rude manner. OMG man, wanna slap her!! Stupid China bitch!! If not you buy plastic bag for what? WTF.

Then I came home being all annoyed and shit and lashed it out at Freddy hahaha. Anywayyy, last week Fred, Jason, Bun, Gary and I went to the DFO at Essendon! Okay so I was supposed to be at home studying, but I thought I wouldn’t be able to concentrate anyways if they were out shopping. Got myself quite a few stuff 🙂 It actually isn’t as far as it seems. I think it only took half an hour from Southern Cross. Yup, pretty near.

So on Thursday last week, my beloved iPhone finally arrived! Receiving it and opening it was like the most exciting thing ever! I had to go to the campus Post shop to receive it though.

Freddy called me before I opened the box and told me to go downstairs to Bun‘s apartment cause everyone was there. But nope, I didnt leave until I snapped some pictures of this baby. Hahaha couldn’t resist. We went to Chadstone after that to get my screen protector and case. But we already planned to go there anyways to catch a movie lah.

I couldn’t find a case I liked at the Apple store so I’m currently using one of Jason‘s cases which he’s not using anymore. This is how my iPhone looks like now.

Okay yeah it doesn’t really look so good now but I just have to find another case. So far, I’m pretty amazed by this phone. There’s just so many different types of applications, more than you could ever think of. The downside of this phone is that the battery runs out pretty quickly, so you have to keep charging it every night. But that’s what you get for such an awesome phone 🙂

Ok so back to Chadstone. We went to catch UP! in 3D that night. It was pretty long, but its a nice movie. So kesian the old man thoughh. And the kid is so fat and freaking cutee!! Hahahahha.

I came back home today and checked my mail and finally got my parcel! Wheeeeeeoooeeeeeee 😀 I totally forgot to take pictures of it before I opened it. I literally shut myself in my room and tore the thing off within a minute.

Weather’s been pretty crazy here lately. The other day it was so freaking cold, it was like 3 or 4 degrees or something. Almost got sick. Luckily I didn’t cos I still had to study for my exam. But yesterday and today were awesome! Warm and sunny. I also can’ wait for our road trip next week, we’re going to a spa! Talk about relaxation. 🙂

Talked to my mum on the phone a few hours ago, I hope November comes soon! Can’t wait to be back in sunnyland. Hopefully I will have a job here to make up for the holidays before going back, my interview is this Friday! Quite nervous cos I’ve never ever had a job before.. and I have to write a resume 😐 LOL. Well anyways, I’m gonna get back to my TV show marathon now 😀 Ciao.

My life is so boring. I have exams in a week! Whathefuck man seriously. I’m so fucking scaredddd. Been slacking like hell this semester. I’m up early today because I have to wait for the Coles delivery guy to receive my orders. I’m so relieved my orders are coming in today, it’s like so sad I didn’t have much things to eat in the past few days. Gonna go for Stats lecture later at 1pm, then come back home and study a bit.. and then off to Chadstone for VIP night. I’m pretty convinced I’m not gonna buy anything (like clothes, shoes, etc.) though. Just not in the mood for shopping. Maybe because I just bought stuff online hahah. Can’t wait til I get my stuff! I expect it to be at the end of this month. So I’m just gonna meet up with Freddy and co. and I dno, hang around I guess. Gonna buy some fake eyelashes though hahahah. I’ve never tried them beforeee ok and I really wanna try them out. Ooh and probably get some sushi. The only option I have there in Chadstone is like, SushiSushi, which sucks balls but yeah no choice. I’m just craving for sushi.

Anyway, the next few weeks is gonna be so busy for me! Firstly cause of the exams, then after that I have to do all sorts of things like pack all my stuff into boxes and move them over to Freddy‘s place for storage 😛 Then, I have to pack all my clothes to go back to Brunei, and that’s gonna be alotttt since I’m gonna be there for like a few months. Then I have to find a part-time job, like I dno, a cashier at Coles or something HAHAHAH. Shit, the thought of me actually working is quite funny cause I’ve never had a job before. But anyway… then I have to go around inspecting apartments for next year. It sounds so tiring alreadyyy. And THIS week, I have to go and book my tickets back home, and find a real estate agent. 😦 😦 Someone help me. But after all that, I get to go home! Yay 😀

I’m not so bitter about being here anymore because it’s finally spring! Yes, Melbourne has been much warmer recently. The weather even goes up to 30 degrees ok, that’s like so amazing already. On one of the weekends it was so warm, we could just wear a top and shorts. Wowwww hahahah it’s like Brunei already. But winter this year wasn’t as bad as last year’s I think, thank god.

I think I really need a haircut. The others went to cut their hair the other day, at this Korean hairsalon which is like really popular with Asians here. I was really tempted to cut my hair there, especially my fringe cause I want it shorter. But it was like $50 for the ladies, so wtf right. So I decided not to. So freaking expensive, I’m sure I can wait until I go back to get a haircut for less than $20. So weekend was mostly just spent at the library, doing my last assignment and doing revision questions for Macro. It was quite productive I guess, but I really have to step it up this week. Say goodbye to social life for two weeks 🙂

Ok the delivery guy just came. Yayy I have plenty of food to eat now. Sad thing was that I broke one of my pasta sauce bottles. And all the pasta sauce leaked in the plastic bag omg. What a waste of good pasta sauce 😦 I had to throw the whole thing away. Ok I gotta go and get ready now, byebye!

Sunday night… I’m supposed to be rushing assignments! But I’m not 😀 I finished my assignment. Damn songggggg. But so annoying la, last two weeks also got assignment due! Should be revision time lah (although I haven’t started studying omgomg). 17 days til exams omg 😐 wtf. so fast! Okok, better start studying next week man! SERIOUS!!

Anyway, I sound very energetic today because I am alllll better now! Omg, I felt like I really wanted to collapse and go hospital and not worry about anything. Those few days were just.. bad. Thank goodness I had Bun and Freddy over on one of those nights.  And then Wednesday night was the worst. I literally felt like I was on fire. Somemore I went to the doctor on Tuesday, but then they only gave me an appointment on Thursday.. dumb or not?! But anyway, that’s all over now.

So yeah, that taught me one thing. It’s seriously not fun to be sick when you’re away from home! You miss everything at home so much more 😦 All the chinese herbal soups and medicines, mum’s home-cooked food.. wahlao!!

Last week I went to hand my assignment in, thought I could get there early and go back early and sleep more, but nooooooo I waited there for a good half an hour before it opened. So lazy these people.. 8AM already still not in their offices.

Sorry for the lack of blogs. I think it was most probably due to the assignments, I cant really remember now cause it’s been a while. But yeah, I’ve also been really sick recently. Still am, but much much better now. Being sick sucks when you’re overseas. Not cool man. Now I really want those herbal chinese medicines and noodle soups. But anyways, gotta go cook my own dinner (I know, sucks right!!) 😦 seeeeeeeeeee yaaaaaaaaaa.

Hellooo! I’m only here for a short update since I said I’d blog soon in my last post… it’s not really ‘soon’ but yeah.

Eating dinner now! After class yesterday, I decided to go to Coles to buy some groceries. Didn’t buy much stuff, cos I can’t carry that much stuff. So damn annoying man, cannot buy a lot of stuff in one go. Randomly decided to cook porridge that  night. Shut up @xy__, I love porridge! Hahahahaa. Anyways I was like checking the recipe online and stuff, then I called my mum to ask her how she cooked. Aww I miss my mum 😦

Ok anyways yeah I cooked porridge! Not the plain white ones k, the one with flavour and chicken shreds. Quite easy la, but I think I put a little too much rice and too little water, so everytime I wanna eat I have to like add hot water to it and stuff. But anyways very proud! 😀 Yeahyeah ok porridge easy stuff lahhhh so noob -.-

Anyways, later that night, I found out something called online grocery shopping. It is only the most awesome thing ever. Ok maybe I’m like a bit slow but yeah still super happy! So you go to the website (e.g. http://www.colesonline.com.au) and then you register and everything, then you can start buying! It’s so fun and fills up your time! Then you can save your cart and logout and stuff. Then you have to pick delivery times, so they can deliver it right to your doorstep. No more carrying heavy groceries up the friggin two flights of stairs, no more having to catch the stupid buses to buy stuff! A burden has been lifted off my shoulders. So thankful for this smart and convenient idea. Delivery fee is like $9 (depends on the area you live in and the times), but I don’t care! So worth it.

Omg, this is so not a short update. Anyways, gotta go finish up dinner and revise for my Stats quiz tomorrow. City tomorrow after class 😀

Whats up people?

Just got up a few hours ago. I was super tired from last night. Headed to the city yesterday at around 12pm, to meet up with Carrie and Dina. Carrie and I were supposed to meet up in Caulfield, so I msged her a few stops before Caulfield then she started walking to the train. Then I realised we were reaching really soon, so I asked where she was. She was like running and panting to get to the train but couldn’t HAHAHA omg what a noob. So I got off and we took the next train together. Met up with Dina at Shark Fin House for dimsum. OMG the bowlay man so scary! HAHAHAHAH. Wtf man. The 3 of us were so terrified of him HAHAHAHA. Omg, too lazy to explain here la. Let’s just say, he didn’t understand what I said, so he started shouting at us.

Dimsum was alright. After that, we went to Collins St because Carrie wanted to check out LV and Chanel. HAHAHAH I know, wtf right, Carrie?! But it’s cool. Carrie brought us to Curtin House after that, to check out some clothes store. She kept saying it was a really dodgy-looking place, then when we reached she told us to be careful of the steps. The second after she said that, she tripped over the stairs. HAHAHAHAHA what a noob!

After Curtin House, we went to the Hype DC in QV. Bought a pair of Converses! I love it! Been looking for something like this for a few months now. I was deciding between the leather or the canvas. The leather looks really nice from the shelf, but when I wore it I thought it looked a bit weird on me.

I dno if it looks different here, but its a sleeker version of the usual. Love it!

And that was my only purchase of the day. Its ok, I’m satisfied 🙂 Carrie bought the same one, but in leather white. After that, met up with Betty, Jasmine and their friend for drinks. The Max Brenner at QV was really full, so we went to the one at Melbourne Central. Our waitor looked like Pan Wei Bo according to Carrie. So the whole afternoon we just called him Pan Wei Bo. We sat there for 3 – 4 hours, just talking about stuff. Mostly it was just updating each other (ok more like Betty updating us haha) and reminiscing the younger ISB days. You know.. the Year 8 to Year 11 times. Omg, so many things happened during that period of time that we forgot. But yeah, it was so much fun! Mostly we were just laughing at the stupid things we’d done. Awesome catchup session lar.. can’t wait for the next one!

After that, the three of them had to leave, so it was me, Carrie and Dina again. We randomly decided to go and take neoprints at this photo store. Our photos so fucked up hahahah. Then we had dinner at Desert House. I tried their baked rice, and it was surprisingly good! They had portugese sauce too. Reminds me of the Cheezbox one. Dina had to go home after dinner, then I also decided to go home with Carrie. Too lazy to see Freddy hahah. Plus it was late, and I didn’t feel like taking the train alone. Took the cab back when I reached Clayton station since it was already past midnight, so no buses. Fuckkkk.. I want a car here!

Also need to do my laundry… hmm. Should I do it tonight or tomorrow? Anyway, I’m glad that I have no classes for the whole week! But so sien, still need to do assignments. Research for Macro, essay on Marketing and prepare for Stats quiz. WHY?!

I miss Bruneiiiiiiiiiiiii! I know I always say this but yeah hahaha. It was cool how your friends were only like 10 minutes away. You could usually meet up with them within half an hour after a phone call. But here, it’s like so much harder because of the stupid public transport. You can’t just meet up anytime and anywhere you want anymore. You used to be able to just drive anywhere. Now you have to take the bus or the tram, then the train, then you still have to walk. Nabeh. Talking about this just makes me so annoyed already hahah. So yeah, can’t wait to go back. Still haven’t decided when to go back cos I’m waiting for Carrie to confirm.

Foolish games.

I was looking at my posts earlier and I have so many drafts in there cause everytime I feel like blogging, I always stop halfway because I suddenly don’t feel like blogging, or because I have to leave. Distractions. Anyway, I’ll try my very best to actually finish this blog and post it up hahaha. So yeah, this is my last week of classes before the mid-sem break! So it’s been like a month since I last blogged, crazyyyy! Doesn’t even feel that long to me. Yeah so it’s almost 2AM now and I have class tomorrow but I can’t sleep, cause I just woke up a few hours ago hahaha. This has been happening the whole damn week! Come back from classes, watch movies for a while, then sleep and wake up for dinner and shower and then watch another movie. Ends up in me sleeping at like 3-4AM and only having 4-5 hours of sleep everynight. I’m enjoying life! 😀

Can’t wait for tomorrow cause after class we are gonna go straight to the city to shop! Not really la.. I just need to get a nice new coat cause the weather’s getting colder everyday. I hate the cold. I need a bag as well but I’m seriously wondering if I should get one cause I spent aloootttttt this month 😦 Anyway, Carrie bitch is supposed to come along too but she has to do her assignment or something.

Hahahah omg, I went to my Stats lecture this afternoon, and I thought everyone was inside the lecture hall already cause no one was outside. Turns out there were only 3 other people in the whole lecture when I walked in. Hahahaha I was like omg, felt so bad for the lecturer. Some people started coming in but in the end we only had less than 20 people there.

So sien! Anyways, I’ll have more interesting things to blog about this weekend. Ciao!

Life in Brunei

Hi, I finally update u guys with my life. hahaaa!! been partying in Brunei!! ahaa Drinking and stuff these few days. Usual group. “Jun shee, Jun Yee, Eric, Gary, Alex, Jia Chii, Yih Fang, Chea Hong, Vivien Yap, Wen Yi, Javon, Jefferson.” These are the people i drink with!! I just met a new friend called Yih Fang. She’s one crazy girl I tell you but shes friendly and nice. Last but not least, the person i missed the most is Rachel Hii, Omg i love her so much till i dont know what to say anymore.. I miss you so much baby!! Today was crazy, eric and I did a 15 SECONDS with chivas.. CRAZY yo. I choked on 10 seconds and then spit the rest out damnn!! I am webcaming with my baby now omg!! so pretty la her. ahhah.. Please forgive what i say in this blog because i am abit high from the alcohol.. Was a fun night although not much people… Note to Jun brothers: “hey, Thanks for everything, letting me stay at ur crib all this while, it sure was fun.. I think i will miss it a lot man! Sucks without you guys tonight man, I think it would be better with you guys yo. You both will be missed man!! Damn those fun times.. Cant see u guys anymore once u guys come back!! SO SAD BRO! Against all odds.

I’ve been meaning to blog for a few days now, but I just kept getting distracted. It’s been over a week since I left Brunei, I never realised it was that fast. I’ve been super homesick ever since, even when I was just on the plane to Singapore I felt like I was already gonna cry. I really miss my mum and my friends and just being back home, so the first few days were really tough for me. Right now I’m staying at Freddy’s for a while, at least here I’m not alone and I’ve got people to talk to and stuff. Being here has made me feel so much better. Anyways, I have school to attend so I don’t think so much about it anymore. I can’t wait til it’s the last few weeks of classes and then its exams, and then I can go back home! This time I definitely have to cherish time back home more, though I don’t think that will be a problem because I will be back for long while.

Anyway, I’ve been coughing like a bitch recently. It’s really annoying. And just last night, I caught the flu. I was like panicking inside, so scary! Supposed to go to class at 8.30am this morning, but screw that. I felt so uncomfortable when I woke up. I went to the campus health centre at about 3pm, and then I had to wear these masks and wait in a room for the doctor to get me. The doctor told me it’s just the seasonal flu and that I have nothing to worry about and just take a good rest. She also gave me an MC for today and tomorrow, so no classes for me tomorrow 😀 Wah I’m so bored now man. It’s like so late now. I think I better get to bed really soon.

It’s been really cold lately, especially today! Omg. I didn’t use the bus at all today. I called the cab instead hahaha. I sound so spoiled but it was super cold k, plus I was sick again so I really couldnt stand walking to the bus stop and waiting in the cold for the stupid bus. I dropped by Glen to meet Kim after going to the doctor cause I needed to copy the keys so it’d be much easier for me to go out and come back. While I was there, I went shopping again. Omg I really cannot NOT shop when there are shops all around me. But it’s okay la I bought cheap things only, and I didn’t stay for long cos I felt like going home to rest. According to the weather forecast, it’s gonna be windy with showers again tomorrow, just like today. Sien la, why can’t it be sunny?

I still wish I was in Brunei, enjoying the heat and the cheap food and the comfort of my own home. Being in Brunei seriously spoils you cause it’s just so relaxed there, and now I dont feel like attending classes. I want to eat sushi, dimsum, homefood, and more. Sadly I never got to eat enough of those things when I was back. Sigh, I just miss everything about Brunei la. What I won’t miss is Cheezbox, though. That place really sucks now man. Ok it wasn’t that good in the first place anyway, its only cos it’s like right next to the mall. Hahaha I sound so bitter. I had a bad experience k, I’m still so pissed with them. My order took 45 minutes cos they said it wasn’t keyed in the computer. I even double-checked with the waitor ok. Then halfway eating, I found hair in my food and told one of the waitors. Guess what he did? He told another waitor to come, so I had to repeat it to him. And what did this second waitor do? He called the manager over so I had to repeat it AGAIN. So in the end the 3 of them crowded around our table just so I could tell them there was hair in my food. :@ I didn’t have to pay for my food, but still, it so wasn’t worth it ok. Plus the food sucked.
